The Spiral Loop and the Breaking of Time Travel Paradox
Physicist Dr. Fabio Costa, along with physics student Germain Tobar from the University of Queensland, has developed mathematical models that suggest paradox-free time travel is theoretically possible
Their work addresses the grandfather paradox. This paradox arises from the idea that if a person could travel back in time to kill their own grandparent, thereby preventing their own existence, how could they have traveled back in time in the first place?
Their solution to this paradox is by mathematically demonstrating that space-time can potentially adapt itself to avoid such contradictions.
Meaning that even if, by going back in time, a time traveler tried to prevent the first case of the Corona virus, they would either contract the virus themselves or someone else would, thus eliminating the paradox. Thus, Covid outbreak would occur, no matter, what we did to the past, and therefore, the motivation to eliminate the virus by going back in time would also be present.
Thus time travel, according to physicists, would be in an infinite loop.
This paradox persists due to the uni-directional movement of time, though, according to the Spiral Cell Illusion there is at least the theoretical possibility that if we move backward then the past becomes the future and the future is the past. Thus, all outcomes whether past or future are already determined, or that the probabilistic dependability is both ways.
The NOW is a merging of all possibilities. Thus, we not only influence outcomes in future, but also the outcomes of the past "were" influenced by the choice we make or made in the NOW.
I use the analogy of two broomsticks placed end to end to represent time, with the middle conjoined part as the present (NOW). This helps to understand and illustrate the concept of time and the role of choice in shaping our experiences.
Let's break down the elements of the analogy:
The two Broomsticks represent the two directional aspects of linear time - past and future. Placing them end to end creates a linear representation of time.
The point where the two broomsticks meet symbolizes the present moment - the NOW. It's the "now" that we are constantly moving through. We neither move into the future nor are we coming out of the past. The NOW is all that there is.
The straws on both sides of the broomsticks represent the flow of countless possibilities of both the past and the future. The straws together, on both sides, as if tied tightly together, signify the linear movement of a set of potential outcomes due to a decision, or event. These possibilities are the result of the choices made in the past and the choices that lead into the future.
Now as the Result of Past and Future Possibilities, the present moment (NOW) is portrayed as the outcome of all the possibilities and choices that have led to this point from the past, as well as the potential possibilities that may unfold in the future.
Choice is the Determining Factor and the emphasis on "CHOICE" implies that our decisions and actions play a crucial role in shaping the total course of time. The choices we make act as a bridge between the past and the future, impacting the trajectory of our experiences.
If we can imagine the two broomsticks extending infinitely in both directions, representing the unbroken continuum of time, w could break the illusion of the uni-directional movement of time. From a deterministic perspective, this implies that all outcomes, whether in the past or the future, are already determined. The events that we perceive as occurring in the past were influenced by the choices made in the future (as we move backward).
The trigger lies in the NOW. By making choices in the NOW, we not only shape the future outcomes, but, also influence the outcomes of the past - all within the set of possibilities already determined. The choices made in the present have a ripple effect backward, affecting the course of events that led to this moment.
And thus, do we come out of the trap of deterministic outcomes. Our CHOICE in the NOW has the POWER. This is in line with the holographic nature of the universe, wherein, by manipulating the data, the projection can be altered.
Thus, the NOW emerges as a profound point of convergence, where the past, present, and future coalesce in a continuous movement of causality and potentiality.
