Dark matter and dark energy are mysteries in science, representing a significant portion of the universe we don't fully understand.

Scientists have strong evidence for the existence of dark matter and dark energy based on their gravitational effects, but the exact nature of these substances remains unknown. Research continues to try and identify the particles or properties that constitute them.

Dark energy and dark matter is uncharted territory. The universe is full of dark matter and the attractive force of gravity pulls all matter together. About 70 % of the universe is dark energy - 26% is dark matter. The normal matter that we can see or perceive or even imagine is around just 4% of the universe. It is true that the whole Universe is held by this Dark Energy. Dark Energy is the nothingness from which being emerges.

Everything emerges from this dark energy and returns into it. So what is this dark matter and dark energy? This dark energy concealed in darkness. An ancient hymn describes it as a continuum of the dark cosmic ocean. It is that which lay in void thus covered. Only to burst forth in glory, self excited by intent.

This ancient hymn paints a vivid and poetic image of a universe filled with the mystery of dark energy, a vast cosmic ocean concealing secrets. It resonates with the awe we feel when contemplating the unknown depths of the cosmos.

Apart from this we also have what is called re-creative energy. The Universe is actually an infinite cosmic egg. Big Bang theory says that the whole universe was in a concentrated form into a point. But, of course, we have to take recourse to both Philosophical and Cosmogonal ideas to attempt to understand the nature of this Universe.

Then we have the “Cosmic Being” because if we are beings then there has to be something super to us. This gives a description of the spirit unity of the universe. It presents the nature of the cosmic being, which is both immanent in the manifested world and yet transcendent to it. This transcendence is crucial. We have a creative will and so therefore, there has to be an original creative will that proceeds forth and that which causes the projection of the universe in space and time. All manifestations, in past, present and future, is held to be this Cosmic Being.

And this is where the classical scientist falls way behind. For him, the concept of a "Cosmic Being" falls outside the realm of scientific inquiry. For him, it belongs to the realms of philosophy and theology, where different perspectives and beliefs exist around the origin and meaning of the universe.

No doubt, dark matter and dark energy pose significant challenges today to any scientific understanding, and yet, it is these mysteries that provides impetus to further research, and all that we can ever do is to develop new theories, and approaches to explore the unknowns. This so called continuous evolution is fundamental to the scientific well being.
